A Night to Say Goodbye to 2026
This year, New Year's Eve takes the form of El Herbarium del Caribe, a celebration inspired by Cartagena's rich history as a port of exchange and knowledge.
Seeds, aromas, fibers, shapes, flavors, light, and species become the distinct collections of the night—a different way to view the Caribbean: not just as a landscape, but as a territory of discovery.

Before ringing in 2027, each guest will have the opportunity to write down their twelve wishes for the coming year.
Afterward: a glass of sparkling wine, the countdown, and fireworks by the sea.

New Year's Eve Party 2026 in Cartagena
The New Year's Eve Party at the InterContinental Cartagena de Indias will be held on December 31, 2026, starting at 8:00 p.m.
El Herbario del Caribe will feature an international buffet, live music by Charanga Joven, DJ sessions, “Hora Loca,” fireworks, a midnight toast, party favors, a buffet and a special area for children, as well as fried snacks and broth at dawn.
